Formerly
known as the Trump Castle, the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino covers a
14.6-acre tract, overlooking the Frank S. Farley State Marina. The
large complex provides panoramic views of the city and marina. The
Trump Marina is known for it’s outstanding service and headline
entertainment. The casino also has multiple showrooms, so there may be
simultaneous performances involving more than one headlining act.
The 2 million square foot complex
contains its own bus arrival/departure area and enough parking to
handle 3,000 cars. The third level of the resort is the
"heart" of the property. At its center is a 210-foot long
reception area from which point every amenity – the casino,
ballrooms, restaurants, showroom, or meeting rooms – is within a
short walk. Columns and walls are sheathed in marble slabs, trimmed
with chrome and accented by strands of tiny lights. Palm trees adorn
the atrium, adding just the right touch of the tropics. Above, three
spectacular chandeliers are framed by the skylights of the atrium
beyond which you can see the hotel tower.
The Marina has 728 guest rooms, 23
two-bedroom suites and luxury level rooms. The hotel’s Bay Tower
rooms (60) offer either a panoramic view of the Atlantic City skyline,
or the ocean shoreline to the north, as well as the marina district
below. The rooms carry a light, airy theme, decorated in earth tones,
with blonde oak furnishings and marble vanities. The $75 million
Crystal Tower houses one- and two-bedroom suites (97), including the
exclusive Trump Club. Inlaid marble floors, rich hand-milled woods,
custom woven carpets and butler service are among the Crystal Tower’s
lavish amenities.
The atmosphere of the casino is bright
and lively and the hotel portion is tastefully designed. The actual
casino consists of a 74,542 square-foot, single-level area located on
the third level. Trump Marina sees many high-roller players, and,
consequently, the table betting-limits tend to be high (e.g. $15
Blackjack). The casino contains a total of 91 table games: 12 Craps,
45 Blackjack, 9 Roulette, 3 Baccarat, 2 Mini-Baccarat, 5 Caribbean
Stud Poker, 3 Pai Gow Poker, 7 Let it Ride Poker, 1 Big Six Wheel, 1
Sic Bo and 1 Casino War. The slot machine area contains 2,178
machines, with denominations ranging from nickel to $100. Also
included in the casino is the Monte Carlo, a private slot gaming area
featuring state-of-the-art slot machines, private change booth and
coin redemption area. Non-smoking slot and table games are also
available.
Additionally,
Trump Marina has numerous amenities, including eight restaurants that
range from casual to elegant dining; The Wave nightclub; a 462-seat
showroom – The Shell; the 16,920 square-foot Grand Cayman Ballroom;
a recreation deck complete with swimming pool, health spa, tennis and
shuffleboard courts, basketball courts and a jogging track; 50,922
square feet of meeting and function space for conventions and such; a
9-story parking garage with direct walk-through into complex; and the
640-slip Senator Frank S. Farley State Marina – a public facility
owned by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry.
