Resorts Hotel & Casino
Located on North Carolina and the Boardwalk, Resorts Atlantic City is
the city’s first established casino and still offers a complete
entertainment experience unlike any other casino/hotel in the area.
Resorts is one of Atlantic city’s smaller and more intimate casinos,
yet it is home to many of the most popular attractions in town.
Now, after a $50 million renovation, th e
casino not only has a great new look, but a fantastic assortment of
attractions as well. Resorts has a myriad of gaming options, 644 hotel
rooms and suites and spectacular themed restaurants. Perhaps the casino’s
most frequented spot, aside from the gaming room, is the hot new club,
Eleven33 - a free entertainment club that has seen the likes of such
musical acts as Three Dog Night, Peter Frampton and Buddy Miles.
Furthermore, the casino has a VIP player lounge, specialty shops, a
health club and pool and 1,485 parking spaces, creating a complete and
unique resort experience. The casino is also known for having the
fastest valet parking system in town.
The Rockwell Group, design architect for the redevelopment project, has
brought back an elegant style to the Resorts' gaming floor. Presently,
the upgraded casino offers 70,000 square feet of light, bright and airy
casino space, completely redeveloped for the new millennium with 200
art-deco style chandeliers and neon lighting fixtures. The dazzling
chandeliers are surrounded by star-shaped lighting elements wrapped in
neon bands of yellow and blue, enhanced by rows of golden globe lights.
Other new additions to the gaming floor include an elegant new
high-limit slot area, which surrounds the numerous high-technology slot
machines with a new Nickel Slot room and a stunning new Baccarat Pit.
Table games that can be found at Resorts are Baccarat, Blackjack,
Roulette, Mini-Baccarat, Craps, Pai Gow, Pai Gow Tiles and Caribbean
Stud Poker.
Resorts has ten restaurants and outlets, ranging from fast food to
gourmet meals. The casino also features 40,900 square feet of meeting
and convention space, including nine meeting rooms and a 12,208
square-foot Ballroom that accommodates 880 theater-style, and 880
reception or dinner guests.
The casino’s recreational facilities include a health club and spa, as
well as an indoor/outdoor swimming pool with a sun deck.
If you are looking for a languorous, enchanting
vacation along the shore or even a fast-paced gambling and nightlife
getaway - and without the huge crowds as seen in many of Atlantic City’s
bigger casino/hotels - Resorts may in fact be the perfect spot.
