fountain rect2.jpg (14116 bytes)Caesars Atlantic City represents the epitome of gaming, as it is one of the most exuberant casinos in town. The casino has entered the new millennium with the completion of a $280 million expansion project, which features a Roman-themed exterior façade, Rotunda restaurant and Bacchus Bar – the culmination of three years of design and construction. In addition, the resort has an expanded casino floor that is adorned with numerous statues, classical artwork and detailed coffered ceilings.

The 120,231-square-foot casino floor, which includes the main casino located on the first floor and the Hippodrome and the Palladium Slot Arena on the second floor, gives Caesars one of the largest contiguous gaming spaces in Atlantic City.

Along with these additions, the expansion project also includes the new Centurion Tower with 620 guestrooms, the Palladium Ballroom, four meeting rooms, the new Café Roma restaurant, and the Temple Lobby.

Positioned in the heart of the Atlantic City Strip - on the corner of Missouri and Pacific Avenues – the magnificent Porte Cochere welcomes each visitor into the empire with its granite clad entrance arch, officious windowed façade, and balcony with decorative urns. The Porte Cochere captivates the attention of each on-looker with its luminous decorative vaulted ceiling, Venetian yellow granite clad walls, custom alabaster and gilded stones.

Inside is one of the most impressive additions to Caesars, the faux sky as seen in Caesars Forum in Las Vegas. Through the use of fiber optics and cold cathode neon lighting, the ceiling resembles a clear Roman sky at dusk, sprinkled with over 12,000 points of light (stars). The renovations earned Caesars the Gold Medallion Award from Casino Executive magazine.

The gaming at Caesars is a good mixture of slots and table games and is generally geared toward high-rollers. However, the table gaming area offers a variety of popular games, from 66 Blackjack tables, 13 Dice, 19 Roulette, 3 Baccarat, 4 Mini Baccarat, 5 Pai Gow Poker, 1 Pai Gow Tiles, 2 Big 6, 2 Sic Bo, 5 Caribbean Stud Poker, 8 Let It Ride, 6 Poker, and 4 Spanish 21 tables, totaling to 135 gaming tables overall.

Caesars Statue rect.jpg (4211 bytes)The main floor expansion also included 1,088 slot machines, bringing the total number of slots – available in denominations ranging from 5-cents to $500 – to 3,595 machines. Consequently, Caesars Atlantic City is the only casino in America’s Favorite Playground to offer slots in 5-cent, 10-cent, 25-cent, 50-cent, $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $25, $50, $100, and $500 denominations.

Looking to learn how to play the games? Caesars offers players of all skill levels the opportunity to learn the rules and play options from casino professionals. Instructors provide lessons on Blackjack, Dice and Roulette every Wednesday and Thursday. These lessons are offered at designated table games located on the second floor casino. Guests interested in participating in Learning From Legends should stop by the VIP Services booth on the main casino floor to sign up for the sessions held throughout the day.

Caesars Atlantic City presents 11 restaurants, including two independently owned establishments and three lounges. Guests can enjoy casual dining as well as luxuriant seven-course gourmet feasts. Credit cards accepted withal.centuriantower rect.jpg (7517 bytes)

In August 1996, Caesars purchased the Ocean One Mall, located directly across The Boardwalk from the casino. The acquisition features 400,000 square feet and contains 129 retail outlets, a food court with 15 eateries and four full-service restaurants overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Formerly known as the Million Dollar Pier, the Ocean One Mall was designed to resemble an ocean liner and is visited by more than 5 million people each year.

Caesars Atlantic City has received many awards for its design, entertainment and dining, customer service, community involvement, and more. It is without a doubt one of Atlantic City’s premier resorts.
