Self-dubbed "The
Crown Jewel of Atlantic City," the Atlantic City Hilton Casino
resort is one of the more elegant casino hotels in town, as its
interior features slick Italian marble and imported beveled gold
glass. One interesting feature of the Hilton are the hand-painted and
hand-sculptured murals depicting the history of Atlantic City located
throughout the complex.
Located on Boston Avenue
and The Boardwalk, the Hilton is owned and operated by the world’s
largest gaming corporation, Park Place Entertainment, based in Las
Vegas, Nevada. The resort consists of 805 deluxe hotel rooms including
200 suites.
The Atlantic City Hilton
Casino offers more than 60,000 square feet of gaming area. In addition
to more than 1,800 slot machines, the casino features Blackjack,
Craps, Roulette, Big Six, Baccarat, Mini-Baccarat, Sic Po, Pai Gow
Poker, and Simulcasting. The interior of the casino floor is simple
yet elegant and makes for a pleasurable gaming atmosphere.
The Hilton features seven
restaurants, ranging from gourmet to casual dining. Undoubtedly its
most formal and renowned restaurant,
Peregrine’s was awarded
a Five-Star rating by the American Academy of Restaurant and
Hospitality Sciences. The gourmet restaurant offers innovative cuisine
featuring contemporary American tastes. On the more casual side of the
scale is the popular Cornucopia Buffet, which serves a land
& sea buffet menu. The hotel has numerous facilities including
shops, a salon and health spa.
The Hilton is one of the
very few casinos in the city to have a beachfront bar. The Dizzy
Dolphin Beach Bar is located on the Boardwalk beside the Hilton’s
Grand Theater. This nautical themed bar features live entertainment
and a number of unique mixed drinks.
The Hilton also features
convention facilities, including 16 meeting rooms, totaling to more
than 23,000 square feet, accommodating gatherings of 16 to 1,600
people. A full array of catering and convention services are also
offered.
Parking is available for
1,800 cars. Guests may choose to utilize valet parking, a brightly lit
self-parking garage or a ground-level "Park and Lock"
lot.
